I can't tell the difference between the factory manufactured brothers toner and this one. It works perfectly for the MFC-7220. Even printing, no lines or streaks. Not sure if it lasts as long yet. I'll have to wait and see.

I set up a table outside my house on which I juxtaposed two documents printed on the same paper. However, I printed one of the documents with the "brother" cartridge that I bought at Staples; I printed the other document with the remanufactured cartridge that I bought on amazon.com. I asked random passerbys to tell me which page looked crisper. After three beers and four sweltering hours, I tallied the votes. The remanufactured cartridge won six votes while the brother cartridge only won four.
Moral of the story, my neighbors are idiots. No, but seriously you really can't see a difference in print quality. I'm never going back to Staples.

I had to wait three days before I could print anything at home. Obviously, when you buy something online, you have to wait to receive it, whereas a purchase at Staples/Office Depot garners instant gratification.

This toner cartridge, which is much cheaper than the OEM cartridge, works fine, fits fine in the machine, and is of all around excellent quality.

I bought these as they are half the price of the Brother brand toner cartridges and was able to get 2 for the price of 1. This was my first time purchasing toner that wasn't original Brother brand for my printer. After reading the other reviews here, I felt comfortable that I would get good print quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The pages come out with a vertical stripe down the center of the pages as well as some pages coming out with splotches of toner on them. Looks like I'll be going back to the original Brother brand toner cartridges as these off-brand do not provide the same quality printing. I was really hoping these would be as good as the original but they certainly aren't. If you don't mind stripes down your page then these would be fine. Unfortunately, I can't accept the inferior print quality.

Be aware that this is a TONER only and is not the complete cartridge with the drum as sold by Brothers; that is why the price is so much less than you would pay in Office Depot or such...you are NOT getting the drum with it. I have only had it a few days and the print seems fine.
