works perfect July 3, 2010 Andre Somogyi As far as I can tell, this is a rebuilt HP toner cartridge. So far, it works perfectly, I can't tell any difference in print quality even on max resolution. Best of all, it was only $17 as apposed to the $65 rip off dollars to HP.
I just would like to know where I can send the old cartridge to get recycled.
Last a long time June 1, 2010 justjan (Maryland) It is absolutely ridiculous to purchase the brand HP laserjet ink for $65.00 + when you can purchase this cartridge for much less. The quality is great and it last forever. Plus it took less than a week to receive.
Economical and Effective May 28, 2010 A reader from New York This cartridge is inexpensive and works every bit as good as the higher priced cartridges I purchased in the past.
Quality printing at for much less May 3, 2010 B. Tanner (Wichita, KS USA) I only wish I had checked Amazon for printer cartridges sooner. My experience with recycled toner cartridges hasn't been good, so I've stayed away from them. I decided to try them. Reviews were good and the price was right. I installed it & printed 130 pages. No streaks. Great quality. Will it make 2000 copies as advertised? I have no idea. For that matter, I don't know if the HP cartridge actually makes the advertised 2000 copies. At $.01/copy vs $.03. I'm happy with fewer copies. I will be ordering spares.
Fair quality at a cheap price April 27, 2010 Hanging Out (Chicago, USA) If you are just looking to get the words on the paper then paying around $20 versus $60 is a good deal for this toner. However, for me, right out of the box, there was a defect in the toner catridge that caused a spot to appear on every sheet of paper. Now maybe this could happen with an HP catridge, but it never has for me, and maybe this was just a bad catridge.
Either way I have decided to return it and stick with original HP. I thought to me a little lesser quality wouldn't matter for the $40, but I decided it did.
