not much to say - works really well, never had a problem with my printer besides curled paper.
My only issue would be that I got the "prepare new toner" 3 months before I had to replace my color toners, and this black toner I had less than a week. Where's the consistency?! (Course, black toner gets used faster cause I mostly print text).

Most people are skeptical about purchasing an item that has an open box. I trusted Amazon's guarantee policy and came out a winner.
True, the Brother toner box was open but the product was sealed in its original factory packaging undamaged and works perfectly. The price was unbelievable too, over 50% less than the retail price.
I will buy again from this seller should they have another item that meets my needs.

I'm using this in an MFC-9840CDW color-laser all-in-one. The toner cartridges have excellent life (five users in the household), are reasonably priced, and fairly simple to replace. I've had my unit three years and this was my third black cartridge replacement (12/09). We put a LOT of paper through this unit.
Also nice that Brother provides printable return shipping labels (at their website) that allow you to send the spent unit back to them at no charge in the box the new one came in.

What can one say about a toner cartridge you have to buy for your printer to work?
Well, in case anyone is doing some deep research before they buy the printer--the toner cartridge is super easy to install which makes a huge difference if you've been used to practically being a mechanic with your printer when installing a new cartridge.This involves sliding the door out, taking a protective cover off the toner roller and then slotting the cartridge in and shutting the drawer.
The ink distributes evenly on the pages and between this and the color cartridges, most of what is printed is sharp, clear and the color as true as possible to the original.
My biggest issue with the toner cartridge(s) is that I don't get the number of copies the manufacturer states per toner cartridge. Off by about 300-500 sheets even though I use the lowest resolution possible.
