What can you say about a Brother TN580 toner cartridge? Not much unless you have good luck or a bad experiance with one. I'm the kind of person who can have enough problems with name brand products not performing as expected, let alone buying off breed items. Lot of people have good luck with no name after market inkjet and toner cartridges. I have not. I do photo restoration and print lots of documents in genealogy research and I don't have time to fuss with something not working right or pictures that look terrible. So, I stick with name brand and original name equipment. It may cost more at first, but still be cheaper in the long run.

Bought this high output toner at a super price $43.00 on Amazon.com for future toner replacement of HL5240 that I just purchased to supplant Epson Inkjet ink-guzzling CX8400. So far, I don't miss my inkjet, nor do I miss the frequently replacing of over-priced color inkjet cartridges (even though the majority of inkjet printouts contained black text, the other C-Y-M color cartridges ran out sooner than the black. Go figure.) Go green (environmentally and financially) and go laser!
